Your first hero, the first person you looked at in awe and reverence, with trust and pride. Who is your hero? Why is that person your hero? We all know how we would introduce our hero to the world, or maybe we feel that they need no introduction but how many of us can say that they have had their hero introduce them to the world? How would they introduce you?

My introduction written by my first hero:

" The 1st apple of my eye was born on March, 11, 1997 making me a father for the first time. This was one of the happiest moments of my life. From a baby that needed nurturing and help learning what this big world was about to wanting to heal the hurt and the need our humanity needs today. A God fearing young woman eager and determined to set the balance straight of inequity in medicine and bedside manner for medical professionals today. As a baby she called a small hurt a “cocomont” to a healer as an EMT to a future Doctor to be she now calls it a way of life to heal the hurt from the soul of their being to the epidermal layer that they live and survive in every day. God made my little baby desire such a calling for His purpose and nothing on this earth will ever waiver her choice to serve her God in the capacity God has for her. What you see and hear when you meet her is Gods words and His light as follows: Jeremiah 33:6 Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth. Isaiah 58:8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard. Psalm 41:3 The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed. Proverbs 3:7-8 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. Exodus 23:25 So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. Esprit sees life from the heavens down to the earth she walks on, No man will make her waiver her faith in her mighty God she serves. She has learned early in life that God gave her scriptures to walk with and a God that walks with her daily. Proverbs 19:20-21 Listen to counsel and accept discipline, That you may be wise [n]the rest of your days. 21 Many plans are in a man’s heart, But the counsel of the Lord will stand. 22 What is desirable in a man is his [o]kindness "

My father is my first hero, he is my best friend, when I need someone to talk to I know he will always be there. When I'm upset or worried he is there to hold me close in his arms or with his words when I'm far away.

My parent are an important part of my support system and of my life in so many ways. Having a support system is extremely important as you all know, and I am so blessed to have a family that are part of that support system. I wanted to write post this specific post to recognize the parents and ancestors that we stand on the shoulders of, the giants that have gone before us to lay down the scaffolding for the next generation to continue to build on.

I stand on the shoulders of giants, I will never forget where my feet stand, I will stand tall.

Thank your giants, and never forget those that have gone before you.

As always best of luck on your journey and please reach out if you have any comments, questions, or concerns about anything.

Esprit
